President Samia Suluhu Hassan, together with thousands of faithful Muslims, gathered at the Mohamed VI Mosque in Dar es Salaam for the Eid El-Fitr prayers, marking the end of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The prayers were a moment of reflection and gratitude as Muslims around the world celebrated the completion of their 30-day fast, an act of devotion and discipline.
In her address, President Samia extended her heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community for completing the sacred month of Ramadan and emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and love among all Tanzanians. Meanwhile, in Zanzibar, President Hussein Ali Mwinyi of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council also joined the Muslim faithful at the Jamiu Zinjibari Mosque in Mazizini for Eid El-Fitr prayers.

President Mwinyi congratulated the faithful for fulfilling their religious obligations and encouraged the people of Zanzibar to continue promoting peace, unity, and mutual respect.
