The Secretary-General of the Revolutionary Party (CCM), Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel John Nchimbi, has stated that all Tanzanians take pride in the great leadership capability demonstrated by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, during her three years in office.
This is evident in how she leads the country for the development of the people, welfare of society, and the strengthening of national identity.
Speaking before the Delegates of the 11th General Meeting of Secretaries-General of Friendly Liberation Parties of Southern Africa, currently in its second day in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the Secretary-General of CCM, Ambassador Dr. Nchimbi, mentioned that the Revolutionary Party also takes pride in the leadership of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for her continued guidance in implementing the CCM Election Manifesto for 2020 – 2025. He emphasized that CCM and its members fully support her.
“Before I begin my presentation here… with your permission, Chairperson of the Meeting, it has been like lucky stars aligning today… I would like to inform the Delegates of the Eleventh Meeting of Secretaries-General of Liberation Parties in Southern Africa that today marks the third anniversary since Hon. Samia Suluhu Hassan assumed the Presidency of the United Republic of Tanzania three years ago.
“I truly take great pride in President Samia Suluhu Hassan, not only because I am a women’s rights advocate, but also because of her great leadership skills in leading our country of Tanzania. As a result, the Revolutionary Party is very proud of President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s leadership, and as Tanzanians, we are very proud to be led by President Samia Suluhu Hassan for her great leadership demonstrated over these three years,” said Secretary-General Ambassador Dr. Nchimbi.
Dr. Nchimbi also took the opportunity to assure the delegates that as a true African stateswoman, Hon. President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan is committed to strengthening and enhancing the relationship between the country and friendly parties in the liberation of Southern African countries, and that she is following closely this first meeting.
The meeting is attended by Secretary Generals and representatives of the Six Sister Parties of the Liberation Moviment in Southern Africa, CCM from Tanzania, FRELIMO from Mozambique, ZANU-PF from Zimbabwe, MPLA from Angola, SWAPO from Namibia and ANC from Southern Africa.
