Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov declared on Sunday that Africa is set to become a central pillar in the emerging multipolar world order, driven by the significant global transformations currently underway.
“Besides the joint statement, we engaged in profound discussions on these issues, which are directly tied to the ongoing global transformations.
These changes will undoubtedly culminate in a multipolar world architecture, and Africa is naturally poised to become one of its key centers,” Lavrov remarked during the closing ceremony of the inaugural Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum.

The second Russia-Africa Ministerial Conference is planned for 2025 and will be held in Africa, according to Lavrov.
“While we have yet to receive formal invitations from our African partners, the event is on track for next year. We eagerly look forward to visiting our African friends,” Lavrov said, expressing his gratitude to the conference attendees.
Lavrov extended thanks to all participants, adding, “A huge thank you to all my friends who have attended and represented their ministers. Please convey my warmest greetings and best wishes to colleagues in your capitals.”
The first Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum was held from November 9-10 in Russia’s Sirius Federal Territory.
