“TRC apologizes to all passengers for the inconvenience and is making every effort to restore services promptly,” the statement read.
The disruption comes as TRC expands its rail services by introducing EMU trains to facilitate travel between major cities, including Dar es Salaam and Dodoma, aiming to reduce travel time and improve passenger safety.
Some passengers on the affected train took to social media to share their experiences, expressing appreciation for TRC’s efforts to inform the public and promptly address the issue.
Many have expressed hope that the corporation will continue enhancing its services to improve efficiency and prevent similar challenges from occurring.
TRC encourages passengers to keep following updates on travel schedules through official communication channels and its social media platforms for real-time information on train services.
