Elon Musk pledges $45M monthly for Trump's Campaign

Tesla billionaire Elon Musk is set to allocate $45 million monthly to support former President Donald Trump’s reelection bid, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

Citing sources familiar with the matter, the newspaper detailed that Musk plans to channel his substantial donations through a pro-Trump super political-action committee (PAC).

Musk’s financial backing is expected to bolster the America PAC, a key player in the efforts to secure Trump’s return to the White House. The billionaire had previously hinted at his intentions to begin his donations in July.

This substantial financial commitment is anticipated to play a crucial role in the PAC’s campaign strategy, offering significant resources to promote Trump’s presidential ambitions.

Despite these plans, the America PAC’s latest filing on Monday did not list Musk as a contributor. The filing, which showed that the PAC has raised over $8 million, has led to some speculation regarding the timing and manner of Musk’s contributions.

Insiders suggest that the billionaire’s donations might be processed differently or could appear in future disclosures.
