The Morogoro Regional Commissioner, Hon. Adam Kighoma Malima, has called on parents and guardians to fulfill their duty of raising children with strong and proper values to avoid the erosion of morals in society.
Hon. Malima made this appeal on October 11 during the launch of the special campaign “Tell Them Before They Are Ruined,” which took place at the Field Force Unit (FFU) grounds in the Morogoro Municipality.
He emphasized that parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that children receive quality upbringing to achieve their dreams. The campaign is expected to reach young people at all levels of education.
“…It is the duty of every parent and every guardian to be part of the responsibility to ensure that children receive upbringing that prepares them for a better future,” said Hon. Adam Malima.
Additionally, the campaign will provide education on the use of social media to enhance learning while discouraging negative influences such as drug abuse, alcohol, early relationships, gender-based violence, theft, and robbery.
