The incident came to light earlier today when a group of livestock herders, tending to their animals, noticed the coffin and promptly reported their findings to the local government authorities. Someke John, the leader of the community’s traditional guards, provided details about the response to the alarming discovery. “Upon arriving at the scene, we felt compelled to open the coffin to ensure there was no human body inside, as there were claims suggesting otherwise,” he explained. This proactive measure was taken in light of growing concerns and rumors circulating within the neighborhood regarding the coffin’s contents.
When questioned by the traditional guards, Budeba reportedly admitted to being aware of the coffin’s presence. He explained that it had been utilized for artistic purposes, particularly in local performances. “He mentioned that a musician named Idd Masempele had left it in this location during a performance in July of this year,” John added.
