A member of Tanzania’s National Executive Council (NEC) and current Bumbuli Member of Parliament, January Makamba, has emphasized the critical role of addressing citizens’ challenges in ensuring victory for the ruling party in the upcoming local government elections.
Speaking during campaign rallies in Bumbuli District, Tanga Region, on November 21, 2024, Makamba outlined four key factors that define the electoral competition: the quality of candidates, the strength of party policies, the credibility of the parties themselves, and leadership records.
