The passing of Dr. Faustine Ndugulile, the former Member of Parliament for Kigamboni and the appointed Regional Director for Africa at the World Health Organization (WHO), has left a deep void in Tanzania.
Dr. Ndugulile passed away on November 27, 2024, while receiving treatment in India. His burial will take place tomorrow, December 3, 2024, in his hometown of Kigamboni.

Dr. Tulia Ackson, the Speaker of Parliament, expressed the nation’s sorrow at the loss of such a prominent figure. She said Dr. Ndugulile had been an important part of the country’s progress, and his insights, particularly in the health sector, were invaluable. “We have lost a leader whose contributions were still needed,” Dr. Ackson said, underscoring his tireless work in advancing national development.
Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, Secretary-General of the ruling party CCM, also shared his thoughts, praising Dr. Ndugulile’s strength and leadership.
