Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has reaffirmed his commitment to continue serving the people of Ruangwa by announcing his candidacy for the parliamentary seat in the upcoming general election.
Addressing a large crowd at Madini Grounds in Ruangwa, Majaliwa declared his intention to seek re-election as Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency that he has represented for several terms.
Majaliwa used this platform not only to promote his candidacy but to call for strong support for President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s re-election bid. He urged Ruangwa residents to give President Samia another five years in office, extending her term until 2030. According to Majaliwa, the current government under President Samia has significantly improved the lives of Tanzanians, especially through key development projects across the country.

Majaliwa emphasized the importance of continuity in leadership, stating that the achievements witnessed in Ruangwa and across the nation stem from sound planning and implementation under the government’s stewardship. He reiterated that under his leadership, government resources allocated for the region have been used effectively, benefiting the local communities. He cited improvements in infrastructure, health, and education as evidence of the government’s commitment to uplifting the area.
“We have made substantial progress in education, health, and infrastructure, thanks to the effective management of public funds. I am dedicated to ensuring this momentum continues, bringing more positive changes to the people of Ruangwa,” said Majaliwa.
