President Samia Suluhu Hassan has officially inaugurated the Gairo District Hospital in Morogoro, marking the first day of her working visit to the region. This state-of-the-art facility, which cost over 3.5 billion shillings, represents a major investment in local healthcare infrastructure.
The hospital comprises seven key buildings designed to enhance medical services. These include an administrative block, an outpatient department, a laboratory, a washing unit, a radiology section, a drug storage warehouse, and a maternity ward. Each component is aimed at addressing various healthcare needs and improving patient care.

This new hospital is expected to significantly alleviate the pressure on existing medical facilities by providing comprehensive and accessible healthcare services within the district.
