Azam FC’s assistant coach, Youssouph Dabo, has expressed his satisfaction with the team’s training camp in Morocco, highlighting the positive environment, player focus, quality training facilities, excellent fields, and nutritious food.
Speaking from Morocco, where the team is preparing for the upcoming season, including the CAF Champions League and the Tanzanian Premier League, Dabo mentioned that the conducive environment has significantly eased the coaches’ task of preparing a competitive and well-conditioned team.

“We have found an excellent camp for our pre-season preparations. It’s a very good location because everything we need is in one place. The quality of the playing fields is top-notch, the training equipment is excellent, and even the food is great. This has made our work as coaches much easier because everything is of the highest standard,” he said.
Dabo also mentioned that before returning to Tanzania, the team will play three friendly matches. These matches will be used by the coaching staff to assess the team’s progress in preparations and identify areas that need improvement.
The coach also expressed his delight with the signing of Cheickna Diakite, a Malian player from AS Real Bamako. He believes Diakite will add significant quality to the Azam FC squad due to his immense talent.
“He is a good player, and we like him. We needed a player of his caliber. I don’t just sign any player; I look for those who can add quality to the team. If I find another good player, I might sign him as well,” Dabo said.
Diakite, who plays on both wings, was signed to replace Kipre Junior, who has moved to MC Alger in Algeria.
