Sean “Diddy” Combs has been removed from suicide watch while in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
The music mogul, who was arrested on September 16, 2024, faces serious charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and related crimes. These accusations stem from allegations that he orchestrated coercive sexual activities, often referred to as “freak-offs,” involving female victims and male sex workers.
Initially placed under suicide watch as a precaution following his arrest, Combs is no longer under such supervision. According to sources close to the case, Diddy, 54, has since received visits from his family and is reportedly focused on preparing his legal defense. His lawyer described him as “very strong” and “concentrated” on proving his innocence. Despite being denied bail twice, with prosecutors arguing that he poses a flight risk and could tamper with witnesses, Combs maintains his plea of not guilty and is set to face trial soon.
Combs has also been embroiled in another legal battle involving his former partner, Cassie Ventura, who filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual abuse.
