Deputy Secretary General Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Said Shaib Mussa on November 23, 2024 joined the Organ Troika Team to participate in the monitoring activities of the Namibian general election where the SADC SEOM Monitoring Mission continued to meet with various stakeholders of elections in Namibia.
In those meetings, the Head of the Southern African Development Community (SADC-SEOM) Namibia General Election Observation Mission, Hon. Anne Makinda,
and his team met and spoke with the European Union Representative, a Lecturer from the University of Namibia, a representative from the Attorney General’s Office and a representative of the ruling party in Namibia, SWAPO.

Ambassador Mussa also participated in a session to receive information on monitoring the progress of the elections, including the entire process of election campaigns, where the team to collect information on election monitoring and the team to collect information from the media presented preliminary information.
Ambassador Mussa also met and held talks with the SADC Organ Troika team working with the Head of the SADC General Election Observation Mission in the Namibian General Election scheduled for November 27, 2024.
Speaking at different times, the chairmen of the committees from Tanzania have said that the preparations for the elections are going well and that the observers have been distributed in various centers, for all 14 regions of Namibia.
Ambassador Mussa has thanked the members of the teams for a good start to the work and urged them to work with effort and knowledge as the work belongs to the Chairman of the Political, Defense and Security Organization of the Southern African Development Community (SADC-Organ TROIKA) who is the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Dr. Samia Solutions.
