Tanzania is set to host the Africa Energy Summit, branded as “Agenda 300,” on January 27-28, 2025. The high-profile event will take place at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam.
Government Spokesperson Gerson Msigwa emphasized that hosting this summit is a significant honor for Tanzania, recognizing the country’s strides in rural electrification and innovative energy solutions. He highlighted Tanzania’s remarkable progress in implementing clean cooking initiatives, championed by President Samia Suluhu Hassan, which has garnered attention and praise from nations across the continent.
