Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation dealing with East African issues, Hon. Dennis Londo has auctioned various economic opportunities including investment, trade and tourism in Russia when he met for talks with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Hon. Bogdanov Mikhail Leonidovich.
The talks between the leaders took place on November 10, 2024 on the sidelines of the First Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs from African countries and the Russian Federation that is held on November 9 to 10, 2024 in Sochi, Russia
Along with other matters, they have discussed about the historical cooperation between Tanzania and Russia since the days of the Father of the Nation, Mwl. Julius Kambarage Nyerere and promised to continue strengthening the cooperation between these two countries.
In addition, for his part Hon. Londo has assured the Russian Government that Tanzania has a sincere desire to ensure cooperation in the sectors of Tourism, Investment, Trade, Agriculture, Health, Industry is strong and growing for the sustainable development of its people and those nations in general.

Also, Hon. Deputy Minister Londo has explained about the presence of a friendly investment environment, various investment opportunities available in the country and strategic areas where Russia can cooperate with Tanzania to bring productivity in its cooperation. Likewise, he has given an opinion to investors and businessmen from Russia to take advantage of the many investment opportunities and markets available in the country.
And, Hon. Leonidovich has thanked the Government of Tanzania for continuing to promote cooperation with Russia and promised that Russia is committed to ensuring that its cooperation with Tanzania is of great economic and diplomatic benefit to all parties.
