Hassan Magulumali
President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Samia Suluhu Hassan, spoke with her guests, President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and President William Ruto of Kenya, upon their arrival at the State House in Tunguu, Zanzibar, on March 14, 2024.
During their discussions, they addressed issues concerning the East African Community integration, particularly emphasizing the importance of expediting the process of collecting public opinions on the structure and areas to be considered in the Draft Constitution of the East African Community Political Confederation.
This exercise has already been conducted in Burundi, Uganda, and Kenya and is being implemented by a team of experts consisting of three delegates from each member country.
