“Mheshimiwa Spika baada ya Waziri kutembelea na kuongea na Mkandarasi, kimefanyika kikao na watendaji wake wakuu na kumekuwa na mabadiliko na tayari Mkandarasi yupo site anaendelea na kazi, na kuhusu malipo nataka nikuhakikishie Mheshimiwa Mbunge kwamba tayari maandalizi ya malipo ya certificate za mkandarasi yapo na ndio maana yupo ‘site’, amesema Eng. Kasekenya.
Eng. Kasekenya amesema mpango wa Serikali ni kuijenga barabara yote kutoka Mugumu – Natta – Sanzate hadi Makutano kwa kiwango cha lami ili kurahisisha mawasiliano kwa wananchi wa Serengeti na maeneo jirani.
Aidha, Eng. Kasekenya amesema Barabara ya Kilindoni – Rasi Mkumbi wilaya ya Mafia mkoani Pwani ipo kwenye mpango wa Bajeti kwa mwaka wa fedha 2024/2025 na itajengwa kwa kiwango cha lami.
