Head of the Southern African Development Community (SADC-SEOM) Election Observation Mission Hon. Mizengo Pinda, has met with the Minister of State, Office of the President Hon. Kabo Morwaeng and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Botswana Hon. Dr. Lemongang Kwape when he visited the Office of the President of Botswana in Gaborone.
Hon. Pinda has met with the leaders with the aim of introducing himself as the Head of the SADC Mission and to introduce the members of the mission who are in Botswana for the Observation of the General Election of the country scheduled to be held on October 30, 2024.
Hon. Pinda was accompanied by the Secretariat of SADC, members of SADC Organ TROIKA, SADC Electoral Advisory Council, and SADC Observers.
Hon. Pinda told his residents that SEOM is in Botswana ready to carry out their duties effectively. Hon. Pinda praised Botswana for great economic development as well as peace and prosperity
