Qatar, Tanzania Forge Stronger Cultural, Arts, Sports Bonds

Tanzania and Qatar have embarked on a path to bolster cooperation in cultural, artistic, and sporting realms.

The Minister of Culture, Arts, and Sports, Hon. Dr. Damas Ndumbaro (MP), @damasndumbaro_official, convened a pivotal meeting with Qatar’s Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E. Fahad Rashid Al Marekhi, aimed at expanding collaborative efforts between the two nations.

Central to their discussions was the agreement to expedite the finalization and signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). These MoUs are slated to serve as frameworks for joint initiatives in culture, arts, and sports, poised to commence swiftly following ratification.

The meeting also saw the participation of key officials including Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Arts, and Sports, Dr. Suleiman Serera, and Directors from various departments within the ministry. Ambassador Abdalah A. Kilima, Director of the Middle East Department, also played a crucial role in facilitating dialogue and coordination between the delegations.
