The CEO of the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF), Raphael Maganga, highlighted China as a leading investor in Tanzania during a recent forum in Dar Es Salaam.
The event, which gathered investors from China and the United States, aimed to explore investment opportunities in the country.
Maganga praised Tanzania’s favorable environment, noting that China easily accesses the African market through the country. He mentioned that Chinese investors visit Tanzania regularly, attributing this to the country’s conducive business climate.
Acknowledging the government’s efforts in maintaining international relations and improving infrastructure and investment policies, Maganga credited these initiatives for attracting more investors to Tanzania.
John Mnali, Director of Investment Promotion at the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC), emphasized that the forum’s objective is to showcase the investment opportunities available in Tanzania.
John Zhengpt, Vice President of Group Six International Limited, expressed that the event would open doors for other competitors to invest in Tanzania, involving major investment companies like ‘Turner’.
The forum brought together businessmen from various sectors, including representatives from the American Chamber of Commerce and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, which comprises 18 chambers from different states in China.
Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
