Tanzania and Pakistan have agreed to expand the scope of cooperation to promote bilateral relations between the two countries
while taking into account the priorities of both countries for the benefit of the country and the people of both sides.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo with the Deputy Prime Minister who is also the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Hon. Muhammad Ishaq Dar have agreed to increase cooperation in agriculture, technology, textile industries and trade.

Minister Kombo has thanked Pakistan for the good cooperation between it and Tanzania for about 60 years now and provided Hon. Dar Kitabu photo ‘Photographic Journey: 60 Years of the United Republic of Tanzania’ which shows the history of 60 years of the United Republic of Tanzania in pictures where Hon. President Samia Suluhu Hassan has written the foreword of the book.
