Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) has issued a public notice regarding a risk assessment session for the ongoing major rehabilitation of Kikoboga Aerodrome under the REGROW project. The aerodrome, located in Mikumi National Park, is undergoing significant improvements as part of this initiative.
Aircraft operators currently using or planning to operate at Kikoboga are invited to participate in the risk assessment session, along with other stakeholders including the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), the Civil Aviation Training Center, the project management team, and the contractor.
The session is scheduled to take place at Kikoboga Aerodrome in Mikumi National Park on the 8th of March 2024, from 10:00 to 16:00 local time. The primary focus of the session will be on aerodrome inspection, hazard identification, and implementing risk management measures to ensure safe aircraft operations during the ongoing aerodrome construction works.
