Mwalimu alisema hayo leo Jijini Arusha mara baada ya kutembelea Hospital ya Rufaa ya Mkoa wa Arusha ya Mount Meru na kuzindua maabara ya kisasa ya hospital hiyo na kusema kuwa Tiba Kemia hutolewa katika Hospital ya Rufaa ya Muhimbili na Ocean Road tu na wagonjwa wamekuwa wengi kote nchini hivyo ni wakati wa Hospital za Rufaa za Mikoa kutoa huduma hiyo lengo ni kuwapunguzia usumbufu wagonjwa.
Waziri huyo alisema hatua iliyofanywa na Hospital ya Rufaa ya Mount Meru Mkoani Arusha ya kutaka kuanzisha huduma ya Tiba Kemia ameiunga mkono na kuzitaka hospital nyingine za Rufaa za Mikoa kuiga mfano wa hospital hiyo.
Waziri aliusifu uongozi wa Hospital ya Rufaa ya Mkoa ya Mount Meru chini ya Mganga Mfawidhi Dkt Alex Ernest kwa usafi,utoaji wa huduma safi na uwepo wa dawa na vifaa tiba na na Utendaji kazi na usimamizi wa dhati kwa watumishi na kutoa huduma kwa wananchi na kusema kuwa hospital nyingine zinapaswa kuiga mfano huo.
Alisema Dkt Alex ni mfano wa madaktari Bingwa kote nchini kwani yuko karibu na watumishi wote wa hospital hiyo na anatatua changamotozao zote hivyo Madaktari wengine wa Hospital za Rufaa wanapaswa kuiga mfano.
‘’Nimeridhishwa na usafi na utoaji huduma katika Hospital hii ya Mount Meru kwani nimejionea mwenyewe na mnastahili pongezi na msibweteke hakikisheni mnaongeza kasi kwa maslahi ya wananchi’’alisema Mwalimu.
”Rais Dkt Samia Suluhu Hassan hatudai kwani emashafanya kazi yake ya kutoa fedha katika huduma ya Afya mamilioni ya fedha kote nchini hivyo ni wajibu wetu kutoa huduma safi kwa wananchi”alisema
Naye Mganga Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Arusha,Dkt Charles Mkombachepa alimweleza Waziri kuwa Mkoa wa Arusha kwa sasa una vituo vya afya 431 hadi disemba mwaka huu na serikali inamiliki vituo 259 sawa na asilimia 60 ukilinganisha na mwaka 2021/22 ambapo kulikuwa na vituo 241 sawa na asilimia 57 na taasisi za dini na binafsi zinamiliki vituo vya afya 172 sawa na asilimia 39.
Dkt Mkombachepa alisema kuwa kuna hatua kubwa sana imepigwa katika kujenga na kuimarisha miundambinu ya kutolea huduma ya afya kwani katika 2021/22 kulikuwa na hospital 6 za Halmashauri na kufikia Disemba mwaka huu Halmashauri zote saba Mkoani Arusha zina Hospital na zote zimeanza kutoa huduma.
Alisema mwak 2021/22 kulikuwa na vituo vya afya 37 na mwaka 2023/24 jumla ya vituo afya 3 vimeongezwa na kufikia 40,mwaka 2021/22 kulikuwa na zahanati 194 na mwaka 2023/24 zimeongezeka na kufikia zahanati 211,mwaka 2021/22 kulikuwa na vyumba vya upasuaji 17 ukilinganisha na mwaka 2023/24 kuna vyumba vya upasuaji 21 kwa vituo vya serikali.
