Next week, from October 22 to 24, 2024, Kazan, Russia, will become a hub for international dialogue as it hosts the XVI BRICS Summit.

This year’s theme is “Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security,” highlighting the importance of collaboration among nations.

Leaders from BRICS countries will have a packed agenda as they tackle pressing global and regional issues. They’ll delve into the progress made through their strategic partnerships in various fields, including politics, economics, culture, and humanitarian efforts. A significant part of their discussions will focus on security cooperation, assessing how their nations have worked together in this critical area.

Another key topic on the table will be the reform of the international financial system. The leaders aim to enhance the influence of BRICS nations while promoting interbank cooperation and the use of national currencies for mutual settlements.

Additionally, the summit will address the introduction of a new category of BRICS partner countries, broadening the scope of collaboration.
