The Chairman of ACT Wazalendo’s National Elder Wing Yasin Mohamed Gumsani, has passed away, as confirmed by ACT Wazalendo Chairman Othman Masoud Othman.
Gumsani died in the early hours of November 4, 2024, while receiving treatment at Muhimbili National Hospital.
In an official statement, Othman expressed condolences on behalf of the party, highlighting Gumsani’s dedication and contributions. The Elder Wing plays a vital role in advising ACT Wazalendo’s leadership, drawing on the experience of senior members to shape party policies and strategies. Gumsani’s leadership was particularly instrumental in guiding the party’s efforts toward unity and social equity.
