Issue surrounding Mohamed Salah’s health has led to a dispute between the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and Liverpool FC, with both parties advocating for their right to manage his involvement and stay informed about his injury progress.

Liverpool contends that Salah has not fully recovered since sustaining an injury in January 2024 during his time at the AFCON. As a result, they have formally requested the EFA, through a letter, to refrain from including Salah in the Egyptian National Team squad set to convene for a training camp in Abu Dhabi for Friendly Matches. Despite this, the EFA has proceeded to include Salah’s name on the list of players expected to attend the camp.

Following his exit from the AFCON, Salah has participated in only one match. Furthermore, Liverpool aims to utilize him in the upcoming match against Manchester City scheduled for March 10, 2024, with plans to subsequently provide him with a period of rest.
