The MP inquired about the government’s efforts to address the issue, as delays often stem from non-payment to foreign contractors who then subcontract local contractors.
She requested the government to outline the payment procedures for local contractors to ensure timely payments and uninterrupted operations.
Dr. Mwigulu assured that the government is taking all necessary measures to ensure prompt payment to local contractors and emphasized that the implementation of new regulations will aid in resolving this issue.
