A tragic and gruesome incident shocked the Segu Bwawani neighborhood in Dodoma’s Nala Ward when three female victims were found dead inside their home.
The discovery was made in the afternoon, around 3 p.m., by a 4-year-old child who survived the horrific ordeal and unlocked the house, which had been sealed from the inside.
The deceased were identified as two young children and their housemaid.

The initial investigation by authorities revealed that the children had been burned in their bedroom, while the body of the housemaid was discovered in the living room, severely injured and covered in blood. The mother of the two children was found unconscious in her bedroom, leaving authorities to determine whether she had been attacked or was otherwise incapacitated.
Dodoma Police Commissioner George Katabazi has yet to issue a formal statement, but preliminary reports indicate that investigators are working tirelessly to uncover the details behind the mysterious deaths. One of the more perplexing elements of the case is that the house was locked from the inside, and it was only the young survivor who managed to unlock the door and alert neighbors.
Local authorities and community members are left reeling from the news, with Nala Ward Councilor Eiman Masila stating that the tragedy is not only shocking but also deeply concerning. “It is alarming that such a heinous crime could take place in our community. We are urging residents to remain vigilant and cooperate fully with police investigations,” Masila said.
As the investigation unfolds, the public is left with many unanswered questions, including the motive and identity of the perpetrator(s). The condition of the mother, who remains hospitalized, could provide crucial information as authorities seek to solve the case.
