Finance Minister, Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba Madelu (MP), has urged citizens to refrain from engaging in political conflicts, emphasizing that such actions lead to tragedies, leaving behind orphans, widows, and the loss of peace within communities.
Dr. Nchemba made this appeal during the climax of the Makambi celebrations while addressing members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Katoro, Geita Region.
In his speech, Dr. Nchemba urged church members and the general public to avoid engaging in violent and chaotic politics, noting that this type of politics destroys families, harms the economy, and disrupts national unity and cohesion. He encouraged church members to deeply reflect on the consequences of unethical politics and to steer clear of them to maintain peace and security in society.

Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, so she can further her efforts to maintain harmony, unity, and attentiveness to the people, which have been the foundation of her philosophy since she assumed office.
He emphasized that political stability is crucial for economic and social development and that every citizen has a role to play in preserving peace and unity in the country. Dr. Nchemba concluded by urging the people of Geita and Tanzanians, in general, to avoid divisive politics and instead focus on initiatives that build and strengthen the nation for the benefit of current and future generations.
