President Samia Suluhu Hassan revealed that the party has procured new vehicles to support its activities at all levels.
Speaking at the ongoing special meeting of the Central Committee and National Executive Council (NEC) on January 18, 2025, at the Jakaya Kikwete Convention Centre in Dodoma, the President highlighted how this initiative would strengthen the party’s reach and effectiveness.
“The party is making arrangements to provide transport for our leaders. These vehicles will improve the efficiency of our work, and I urge everyone to ensure they are used properly to support our duties and responsibilities,” President Samia said, stressing the importance of using the new resources effectively.
She shared that a total of 194 vehicles have been acquired, with the majority already distributed to various party offices. So far, 149 district offices out of 168 have received their vehicles, which means about 88.7% of districts are covered. “We’ve also provided 32 vehicles for regional offices, and nine have been allocated to the party’s key organizations: Wazazi, UWT, and UVCCM,” she added.

Looking to the future, the President assured party leaders that the remaining 19 districts will also receive new vehicles before the 2025 general election. At the ward level, motorcycles have been provided for all offices, with a goal of achieving nationwide coverage by November 2024.
“These efforts are part of a larger strategy to ensure that CCM’s activities are supported at every level,” President Samia explained. “We understand that our party’s strength comes from the grassroots, and it’s essential that we are present and active in every community.”
