Yanga’s Head Coach, Miguel Gamondi, has stated that one of his philosophies for the upcoming season is to ensure that his team does not concede goals easily in any match they play.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, he said that any team looking to win a football match must first ensure they have a solid defense to prevent easy and careless goals. Thus, despite the strength of his squad this season, he will ensure that such goals are avoided.
He mentioned that even if such goals are conceded, they should be rare and due to valid reasons, not due to negligence by the team or individual players.

“One of the things that most coaches dislike is seeing their team concede easy and careless goals. We are going to play difficult international matches, in the CAF Champions League, where the games are tough and minor mistakes are heavily punished. Therefore, we are starting to work on this in the Premier League,” he said.
However, he added that despite this focus, he will not change his philosophy of playing an attacking style of football. Instead, he expects his players to be diligent and work together in defense, without interpreting this as a shift away from their attacking style.
“I will still play the same way, I will not change my approach to playing football. People will see the same Yanga as last season, and it might even be stronger. We play a style where every player is involved in attacking, everyone runs, and everyone tries to recover quickly when we lose the ball,” said Gamondi, who is from Argentina.
Meanwhile, the team’s manager, Walter Harrison, has called on members and fans to come out in large numbers this season to support their team.
The manager stated that, as fans did last season by winning the award for bringing the most spectators to the stadium, he urged them to break the record for fan attendance in the new season starting this Friday.
“The team is in very good shape and possibly even better than last season. The squad is now broader, meaning the coach can choose who plays without pressure. Therefore, fans should also remain patient and come out in large numbers, whether in Dar es Salaam or the regions,” he said.
In years gone by, context switching has been a nemesis Saving the ‘minimal context’ to be able to come back to as ‘blocked’ task again quickly, and picking up a ‘blocked’ task that is now free has alwasy been ‘expensive’ We had that problem in the ’80/90s The ability using parallel processes needs a special programming or problems to make it most worthwhile We called the difference ‘vertical MIPS’ (typical big single processors) vs ‘horizontal MIPS’ (parallel processors) Both architectures are great, just different tools that specialize in different problem solutions
