Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has expressed deep condemnation over the killing of Mohamed Ali Kibao, a notable leader from the Democratic Change Party.
During a national address, she called for a swift investigation, emphasizing that violence of any kind has no place in the country’s political landscape.
Kibao’s assassination has sparked widespread outrage across the nation, drawing strong emotional reactions from political leaders, civil society, religious organizations, and international representatives. President Hassan stressed the need for unity among Tanzanians to stand against such violence. “We must collectively condemn these actions and ensure that justice prevails,” she said. “No political affiliation justifies such brutality. The blood of Tanzanians must not be spilled in vain.”
