The 34-year-old forward arrived in Istanbul on Friday night, landing at Atatürk Airport via a private jet. He was accompanied by several members of Besiktas’ management team who had flown to Rome to finalize the transfer. Immobile was seen wearing Besiktas’ iconic black jersey with the number 17, expressing his enthusiasm for the new chapter in his career. “I am very happy and ready to start the season,” Immobile said upon his arrival.

Immobile has signed a two-year contract with Besiktas, which will see him earn a guaranteed net salary of 6 million euros per season. This lucrative deal highlights the club’s ambition to return to the top of Turkish football after a challenging season.

Besiktas finished sixth in the Turkish Super Lig this year, a result that fell short of the club’s high standards. The team last won the competition in 2021 and is eager to reclaim their position among the league’s elite. The addition of Immobile is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the squad and enhance their chances of competing for the title in the upcoming season.

The signing of Ciro Immobile has generated excitement among Besiktas fans, who are hopeful that his presence will lead to improved performances on the field. As the new season approaches, all eyes will be on the Italian striker to see if he can replicate the form that made him a standout player in Serie A and help Besiktas achieve their goals.
