The Minister for Health and Member of Parliament for Peramiho, Jenista Mhagama, has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to President Samia Suluhu Hassan for the developmental projects implemented in her constituency.
During President Samia’s visit to Peramiho on September 24, 2024, Jenista Mhagama went down on her knees as a gesture of appreciation, acknowledging the President’s support and leadership in spearheading progress in her constituency.
The occasion coincided with the recent minor cabinet reshuffle in which President Samia appointed Jenista Mhagama as the new Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, responsible for Policy, Coordination, and Parliamentary Affairs. This move reflects President Samia’s trust in Jenista’s ability to handle the country’s policy and coordination matters at a higher level
Before this appointment, Jenista Mhagama was serving in the President’s Office overseeing Public Services and Good Governance. She takes over this crucial role from George Simbachawene, who now steps into Jenista’s previous position.
The cabinet reshuffle signifies the President’s ongoing commitment to ensuring efficient governance and effective leadership across Tanzania’s various ministries.
