During his visit, Kombo applauded the embassy team for efficiently handling the Tanzanian delegation arrivals and ensuring smooth preparations for President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s upcoming official visit. Highlighting the significance of President Samia’s trip, Kombo pointed to the inaugural International Kiswahili Conference set to take place in Havana on November 8. The conference, expected to draw around 400 participants, will celebrate Kiswahili’s growing influence, with President Samia leading the opening remarks. Kombo emphasized that the conference aligns with Tanzania’s goal of promoting Kiswahili and strengthening cultural connections across Latin America.
