Shaibu Mwanyoka, a member of the Central Committee of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) in Tanga Region, has urged the residents of Handeni to support leaders from the ruling party during the upcoming local government elections.
Mwanyoka made this appeal while addressing the residents of Mabanda Ward in the district. He stated that the purpose of the Tanga Regional Political Committee’s visit to the area is to rally the people to support CCM.
He emphasized that regardless of political affiliation, both CCM members and non-members should come out in large numbers during the local government elections to endorse and vote for CCM candidates.
Mwanyoka also highlighted that after the local government elections, peace, unity, love, and solidarity should continue to be promoted—values that CCM has always upheld.

“Continue to trust leaders from CCM, as they are the only way and tool for development. Let these elections bring us progress, not division,” he said.
“We have come to advise the people of Mabanda and other areas of Handeni district to continue supporting CCM leaders. The party will ensure the implementation of its manifesto,” Mwanyoka added.
He informed the Mabanda residents that the CCM government has allocated 1.2 billion shillings for development projects, with the aim of continuing the construction of classrooms, which will bring educational services closer to the people.
Regarding healthcare, Mwanyoka praised President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for building a state-of-the-art hospital in Handeni, despite opposition parties’ tendency to criticize positive developments. He stressed that no party advances development like CCM.
He urged the residents of Handeni district to ensure that they give President Dr. Samia strong support by voting for CCM candidates in the local government elections.
