The Ministry of Health in Rwanda has confirmed the first cases of the Marburg virus, a serious illness that poses significant health risks.
This announcement came yesterday, marking a concerning development in the region. While specific figures regarding the number of infected individuals were not disclosed, the authorities are taking the situation very seriously.
Health officials are currently conducting investigations to determine the origin of the outbreak, which shares similarities with the Ebola virus.
