Today marks the start of interviews for over 37,534 individuals applying for health sector positions within local government authorities.
This follows the government’s announcement on July 7, 2024, which revealed 9,483 available jobs in the health sector.
Previously, candidates for these roles, as well as those in education, submitted their applications through the Office of the President – Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI). Under this system, qualified applicants were directly assigned to positions without additional interviews.
In a shift from this practice, the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat now manages the interview process. According to their announcement, interviews will be conducted from September 2 to September 12, 2024.
