The President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has arrived in Doha, Qatar, where he is set to participate in the International Conference on the 30th Anniversary of the World Family Summit.
The summit, scheduled for October 29, 2024, brings together leaders and experts to address global family welfare and developmental issues.
Upon his arrival at Hamad International Airport, President Mwinyi and his delegation were received by senior officials of Qatar, led by Youssef Al Harami, and Tanzania’s Ambassador to Qatar, Habibu Awesi Mohamed.
President Mwinyi’s presence at this influential international summit is expected to amplify efforts toward enhancing the development and well-being of citizens in Zanzibar and Tanzania at large.
