Dr. Matthew Matimbwi, Executive Secretary of TAREA, shared that the participating companies will represent nations including Tanzania, India, South Africa, Oman, Austria, Zambia, and Kenya.
“TAREA and ETSIPL have joined forces to promote the Power & Elec Industry and tap into the untapped potential of this sector in Tanzania,” Dr. Matimbwi stated during a press conference in Dar es Salaam on Thursday.
“The primary goal is to ensure that Tanzanians have access to quality energy services, as highlighted in the compact from the recently concluded Africa Energy Summit, which revealed that the Tanzanian market is inundated with substandard energy products,” he explained.
Mr. Vijayanka Brighuvanshi, Director of ETSIPL, mentioned that a diverse array of products will be showcased at the exhibition.
“We have received tremendous support from various industry stakeholders and associations, including our partners: the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (TCCIA), TaTEDO – SESO, Tanzania Energy Association (TEA), National Commercial Directory (NCD), Crayon Media Agency, and the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TANTRADE),” Mr. Brighuvanshi noted.
Mr. Steven Ngalya, Public Relations Officer for TCCIA, encouraged Tanzanian businesspeople to seize the opportunity presented by the upcoming exhibition.
