Simba club management has announced the return of Patrick Rweyemamu to the position of Team Manager, with Rweyemamu himself stating that he has returned to oversee discipline within the team.
Rweyemamu previously held the same position at Simba before being assigned to oversee youth football within the club last season.
He has been appointed to replace the former team manager, Kenyan Mikael Igendia.

Speaking from Ismailia, Egypt, where he traveled after his appointment, Rweyemamu mentioned that some players sometimes disrespect managers due to their high salaries, but he works hard to rectify such situations.
“In football, there are two or three things; the coach must have a friendly environment which is disciplined for the players, there is a medical department, once you connect these two things it becomes easier for the coach to work. A doctor will prepare the player physically and mentally, we managers also have to create a friendly environment, i.e. the camp and discipline, without these you cannot achieve what you want, otherwise the coach cannot get good things.
If I say discipline includes many things, sleep, drink, eat, fun, exercise so it requires a Manager to have the authority, to have a decision that is understood and does not bend,
