Tanzania Hosts 1st Regional Summit of employers

A total of 38-out of 50 countries are currently in Tanzania to participate in the  7th African Social Partners Summit currently underway at the Julius Nyerere International Centre. The  two-day summit will focus on social issues , job creation,  law labor issues and Artificial Intelligence.

A total of 38-out of 50 countries are currently in Tanzania to participate in the  7th African Social Partners Summit currently underway at the Julius Nyerere International Centre. The  two-day summit will focus on social issues , job creation,  law labor issues and Artificial Intelligence.

The African Social Partners Summit discusses issues related to labor, employment, and social development in Africa. The summit, which is a beacon of collaboration amongst Africans, focuses on bringing together representatives from government, employers’ organizations and trade unions to deliberate on issues that can hamper job creation, geared towards economic advancement among African countries.

The summit organized by the Association of Tanzania Employers(ATE) in collaboration with the International Organization of Employers (IOE) with the support of the European Union ,will delve into various subjects, including skills development, industrial growth, and job creation across Africa as job creation always play a pivotal role in the economic advancement of every country.

The summit  features notable speakers such as Ms. Fanfan Rwanyindo Kayirangwa (Assistant Director-General, ILO), Mr. Roberto Suarez Santos (Secretary-General, IOE), and other distinguished guests.
