Museveni, Kagame to Miss Tanzania’s 60th Union Parade

President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and President Paul Kagame of Rwanda both did not attend the event, according to sources that show the list of presidents that will attend.

Tanzania is prepared to celebrate its 60th Union Parade of the union between Tanganyika and Zanzibar that formed the United Republic of Tanzania in 1964.

However, amid the anticipation, notable figures from neighbouring countries will be conspicuously absent from the celebration.

President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and President Paul Kagame of Rwanda both did not attend the event, according to sources that show the list of presidents that will attend.

List of presidents that will attend tomorrow ,H.E. Azali Assoumani – President of the Union of the Comoros, H.E. Félix Tshisekedi – President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, H.E Évariste Ndayishimiye – President of the Republic of Burundi , H.E. Hakainde Hichilema – President of the Republic of Zambia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud – President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. William Ruto – President of the Republic of Kenya,

Also H.E. Nangolo Mbumba – President of the Republic of Namibia ,H.E. Saulos Chilima – Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, H. E. Jessica Alupo – Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, Hon. Adriano Afonso Maleiane – Prime Minister of the Republic of Mozambique, Hon. Gen (Rtd) James Kabarebe- Minister of State for For Foreign Affairs in Charge of Regional Cooperation Rwanda, Amb. Simbarashe Mumbengegwi – ZANU- PF Secretary for External Affairs Zimbabwe, Dr. Akinwumi Ayodeji Adesina – President of the African Development Bank

officials from both the Ugandan and Rwandan Presidents are absence, but sent their representatives
