The International Football Federation (FIFA) has lifted the ban on Tabora United, allowing the club to resume registering players after they successfully settled outstanding payments owed to several of their foreign players. The move marks a significant turnaround for the NBC Premier League club, which had faced severe penalties due to financial disputes.

The players involved in the dispute were Jean Didie Touya, Nyongani Junior Mutuale, Daniel Chitambai Chal, and Makuntima Kisombe Guylain. These players had taken their grievances to FIFA, accusing Tabora United of salary arrears and breaches of contract. The case highlighted the challenges faced by clubs in maintaining financial obligations and adhering to contractual agreements.
