Police Investigate Girl’s Abuse in Yombo

The Tanzanian Police Force has announced that it has begun investigating a video circulating on social media showing a girl from Dar es Salaam being subjected to humiliation and cruelty.

“On social media, a video is circulating showing a girl who is said to be from Yombo Dovya in Dar es Salaam being mistreated and subjected to cruelty that is unacceptable, as it is against the law, Tanzanian values, and human rights.

We would like to inform the public that the Police Force has already started working on this reprehensible incident.

Furthermore, the Police Force urges all citizens to stop disseminating the video, as doing so is a legal offense and continues to demean our fellow human beings.
