Deputy Minister of Culture, Arts, and Sports, Hamis Mwinjuma , has visited the construction site of the Arusha football stadium to review the progress of the project and observe the contractor’s ongoing work. He expressed satisfaction with the construction’s progress.

During his visit, Mwinjuma praised the commitment to realizing President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan’s vision of preparing Tanzania for AFCON 2027.

“The contractor is aware that we are slightly behind schedule, so he has assured us that he will make up for the lost time to complete the project on schedule, ensuring it is ready for AFCON,” Mwinjuma said.

He also noted that many local residents are employed directly on the project and are working with enthusiasm, understanding that their efforts are contributing to the country’s benefit.
