The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has revealed that it made Sh3.05 trillion in revenue collection in December 2023, the highest monthly collection since its establishment.
With the collection, TRA surpassed its target by 102.9% with its initial goal of collecting Sh2.96 trillion.
The amount is also 9.2% higher than the December 2022 collections, which stood at Sh2.79 trillion.
Revenue collection trend for the past six months:

➡️ September – Sh2.6 trillion
➡️ October – Sh2.148 trillion
➡️ November – Sh2.143 trillion
➡️ December – Sh3.049 trillion
