A historic moment unfolded at the White House on March 25, 2026, as First Lady Melania Trump appeared alongside a humanoid robot known as “Figure 03,” marking a significant milestone in the intersection of technology and public life.
The robot, developed by U.S.-based company Figure AI, walked into the East Room with the First Lady during the “Fostering the Future Together” Global Coalition Summit, capturing the attention of world leaders, diplomats, and technology experts gathered for the event. Designed to resemble human movement and interaction, Figure 03 greeted attendees in multiple languages and introduced itself as an American-made humanoid system.
Describing the moment as symbolic, Melania Trump referred to the robot as “the first American-made humanoid guest in the White House,” emphasizing its role in showcasing the future of innovation and global collaboration. “This represents not just technological advancement, but a shared vision for how innovation can support our children and communities,” she said.
