London hosted a crucial summit focused on Ukraine and Europe’s shared future, emphasizing unity and strategic cooperation.

The gathering underscored strong European support for Ukraine’s independence, its people—both military and civilian—and its security amid ongoing conflict.

Discussions centered on securing robust guarantees for Ukraine’s defense and establishing a solid foundation for collaboration with the United States to achieve a lasting and just peace.

European unity has reached an unprecedented level, reinforcing collective efforts to counter aggression and ensure regional stability.

During the summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss Ukraine’s ongoing challenges and Europe’s role in addressing them.

Their talks covered security coordination, strengthening Ukraine’s position, and taking concrete steps toward ending the war with firm security assurances.

A significant outcome of the summit was the signing of a Loan Agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

The agreement, formalized in the presence of both leaders, will provide Ukraine with financial support to enhance its defense capabilities.

The loan, to be repaid using revenues from frozen Russian assets, will be directed toward domestic weapons production, reinforcing Ukraine’s ability to defend itself. President Zelensky hailed the agreement as a form of justice, asserting that the aggressor should bear the financial burden of the war.

Zelensky also met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to develop a joint action plan aimed at securing lasting peace in Ukraine.

Discussions highlighted the necessity of maintaining unity among European nations and strengthening Ukraine’s position through international partnerships.

Zelensky emphasized that no one, except Russian President Vladimir Putin, benefits from prolonging the war, stressing the importance of continued cooperation with allies, including Europe and the United States.

The summit reaffirmed Europe’s unwavering support for Ukraine, with consensus on the need for real security guarantees to ensure lasting peace.

With strong backing from the UK, EU, Türkiye, and the US, Ukraine remains committed to securing peace through international collaboration and strategic resilience.
